The short version. WiredIN helps you focus by blocking distracting apps for a period you choose. Some modes are deliberately hard to exit — that's the point, and you should read §3 before using them.
WiredIN needs a subscription — there is no free version. You get a free trial with everything unlocked, and after it ends Pro is required to keep using the app. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. Cancel any time in your Apple ID settings; cancelling stops the next charge, it doesn't refund the current one.
WiredIN is a productivity tool, not a safety system and not medical treatment.
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and the independent sole-proprietor developer publishing WiredIN ("WiredIN", "we", "us"), based in the United States. By downloading, installing, or using the WiredIN app, you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use WiredIN. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
WiredIN is an iOS focus app. It lets you start timed focus sessions, block selected apps for the duration using Apple's Screen Time framework, schedule sessions, set per-app daily limits, track streaks and statistics, and optionally start blocking automatically when you arrive at places you designate.
We may add, change, or remove features. We won't remove a feature you're actively paying for without telling you first.
WiredIN's stricter modes are designed to be difficult to exit before the timer ends. That difficulty is the feature you are choosing. Do not start a locked session in any situation where you may need immediate access to a blocked app.
Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:
You accept full responsibility for any missed call, message, notification, deadline, appointment, or opportunity resulting from your use of blocking. We are not liable for these — see §11.
WiredIN requires an account. There are two ways to make one — Sign in with Apple, or an email address and password — and both are real, recoverable accounts. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Because your account is tied to an Apple ID or an email address rather than to a particular installation, your history is recoverable: delete the app, reinstall it, sign back in, and your sessions, streak, and stats are still there. An account is required for that reason, and because friends and shared crew rooms cannot work without a stable identity.
You choose a username. It is visible to other people using WiredIN and is how they find you to add you as a friend, so it must not impersonate anyone or contain anything covered by §6.
WiredIN requires a subscription. There is no free tier: new users get a free trial with full access to everything, and when the trial ends WiredIN Pro is required to keep using the app. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription.
Use WiredIN for its intended purpose. Don't:
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these rules, with notice where reasonably possible.
Reporting and blocking. Open any profile and tap the … menu to Report or Block. Blocking works both ways: a blocked account cannot find you in search, send you a friend request, or nudge you, and you will not see them either. Existing friendships between you are removed. You can undo a block in Profile → Blocked accounts. Reports come to us, are reviewed, and are never shown to the person reported.
Journal notes, task lists, goals, display name, and anything else you write remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process, and display that content back to you in order to run the service. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models, and we do not send it to any third-party AI service.
WiredIN requests Screen Time, notification, location, calendar, and reminders permissions. Each is requested only when needed for a feature you're using, each is explained at the point of asking, and each can be revoked in iOS Settings. Revoking a permission disables the feature that needs it; the rest of the app continues to work.
We aim to keep WiredIN running, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Sessions, blocking, and timers work offline; syncing, social features, and insights require a connection. We may suspend the service for maintenance, and we may discontinue it entirely — if we do, we'll give reasonable notice and stop charging subscribers.
WiredIN is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
WiredIN is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, treatment, or diagnosis. It is not designed to treat ADHD, addiction, compulsive device use, or any other condition. Nothing in the app is a substitute for professional care. If device use is causing you distress, please speak to a qualified professional.
We do not warrant that blocking will be effective, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that the app will meet your productivity goals.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed communications, missed deadlines, or lost opportunities arising from your use of — or inability to use — WiredIN, including any failure or success of app blocking.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to WiredIN is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the above applies to the maximum extent permitted, and nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another party's rights.
You may stop using WiredIN at any time and delete your account in Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access for a material breach of these Terms. Sections 3, 7, and 10 through 16 survive termination.
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for WiredIN or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for WiredIN. If WiredIN fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to WiredIN, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of that state, unless the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts — in which case that right is preserved.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in full force.
No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision, that isn't a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about WiredIN, and replace anything said earlier about it.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, on notice to you.
Force majeure. Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by something outside its reasonable control, including network or platform outages, acts of government, or a change to iOS or the App Store that we cannot work around.
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change, and for material updates we'll notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use WiredIN after that point means you accept the revised Terms. If you don't, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
